Shopping, shopping...the favorite past time for most people during all seasons. Gamers who like to play shopping games will be having a new Facebook game called Market Street. 1. You will need a display to sell your products. Click on the display icon to buy one.
2. When you start to play Market Street, you will be automatically granted some products to sell. Open your stockroom to view your products and then, click and drag the items onto your display rack.
3. For decorations, you can choose plants, windows, or banners to display in your shop. Decorate your shop to create a nice and inviting place for your customers. I particularly enjoyed putting plants and moving the decorations around to suit the rather small room.
4. Remember to check frequently to the To Do list. Follow the list to complete the tasks provided. You can advance faster through the levels this way.
5. Check the status of your store performance at the green smiley. Click on it and it will show how well you are doing.
6. Try to put more products and keep your store full of display. The more you put there, the more you'll earn and get more customers.
7. Invite more neighbors to come in to play Market Street with you. The more you have, the fun it will be.
8. To advance through the levels, go back to the To Do list as often as possible. Stick to the tasks and it will be very easy to play this game.

ReplyDeleteHow do you catch thieves on this game, because it says on the little to do list that i have to catch this many thieves.
ReplyDeleteClick on the thieves as fast as you can, before they exit your shop's door. Then you will be able to catch them. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteplease help me understand why i can invite people to be my neighbors on this game, yet when they accept the request, and adding neighbors is on my 2-do list, the add more neighbors does not disappear and i dont get it checked off... i need new neighbors, if you can help me figure out wheat im doing wrong or be a new neighbor, i would much appreciate it.

Hi Christy, the to-do list requires us to add a certain number of neighbors before it can be checked off. you can see whether you have the sufficient number of neighbors as stated there. do let me know if this works out for u.

ReplyDeleteHi becks, the one that look like a trashcan is actually a shopping cart. it could not be clicked and it shows that they are taking the items and will pay for them later at the counter.
ReplyDeleteThe trash can means the Customer finds nothing but dirty displays. Sometimes, they are upset when they found nothing you are selling they wanted too.

ReplyDeleteHi Celena, the customers will buy the display items themselves. just monitor the customers to make sure they are happy and make sure you have enough items on display.
ReplyDeleteHi Ginger, if a cash register is over their head, then most probably they have waited a bit too long to pay for their items, so once you have enough cash, you can buy second cash register to place in your shop.

ReplyDeleteMake sure you collect your register's money. It will stop working when it is full and you will end up with upset customer.

I would like to know which item sells best right now? Or at least a table or something... As im only lvl 6 right now and was wondering what sold the best?

ReplyDeleteHi Alina, when you get a new register click on it to hire a friend, keep on playing the game, it will capture the to-do list as a complete one soon. If not, just reload the game and try again. Hope this helps.
ReplyDeleteHi Anthony, at level 6, the items that sell best right now are the gift cards (yellow, purple, red and blue ones). Other than that, the second ones that sells good are rap CD, Pop CD, Stud Finder, Tux Tee and Designer Belt. I will be publishing an article on the details soon. Keep posted!

ReplyDeleteHi John, shopping bags means they have bought the items from your store. Shopping carts probably means they are putting the items in their carts to be paid at the counter.
ReplyDeleteWhen your clipboard says to change things, you'll usually get paid well for it as well as advance...but I've found some quick ways to do these, and cheaply as well...
ReplyDeleteCatching burglars... set up a maze at your doors, it will give you time to catch them, although when you click you may get the display info, so try near the door for clicking.
Customer (?) to do... block one of your doors and they may continually line up with the (?)
Rotate display, get a $500 diplay and buy/sell it a few times ( so you have to keep one of these in the first 8 or so levels )
Rotate floor / walls... these are $2 so just wear the 30 bucks!
Stocking / purchasing to dos... rotate in the $3 stuff, but only put one item in your double shelves, and wait for it to run out so you get credit for each stock.
Restocking ( early level to do ) pick a $3 item and restock it every 10 seconds or so.

Hi Jon, some players also faced this issue, the neighbor show up as pending. However some players are not experiencing this problem. I read that Playdom is trying to fix this issue.

ReplyDeleteHi Dian, click on the cash register to rotate it according to the position that you prefer. If it is not working, reload the game and try to click the cash register again. This happens to me once and when I reload the game, I am able to rotate it already.

ReplyDeleteHi TL, all items can be sold except wallpaper. If you do not need a shirt stand, you can drag it back to the Display to exchange with the type of table that you need.

ReplyDelete@ Joel, you can select a varieties of stock to put up in your store. Most importantly, try to stock up and keep the store clean. The customers actually do not specifically choose the products. It's more which product earns more within a specific timeframe.

@ Random, for registers you need to level up or expand in order to add a new register. If you've already leveled up, try going up another level. If you've just leveled and still can't add a register, then try expanding. A combination of these two actions will allow you to add another register.

@Random, if it's a shopping cart, it means that the customers are taking the display items and is on the way to purchase it at the counter. Same like we normally do when are buying things from the supermarket.

ReplyDelete@ Shirley, yes you can sell these items. However, when you liquidize your items, you are selling them at a loss. So if possible, try to avoid this at all cost.
