Playdom has just released a new Facebook game, City of Wonder. This is the same developer for Market Street, Tiki Farm, Fashion World, Wild Ones and Social City. Here is the walkthrough for City of Wonder. 1. When you see the icon with a person, click to move your first resident in.Residential buildings bring new people into your civilization.
2. Click on the garden to make goods. Make goods in workshops for your civilization to prosper.
Start the production by choosing which vegetables you want to plant.Peas, carrots, garlic and onion....
3. Click on other garden to sell your goods. After that, clean your workshop with a click.
4. Click the build tab to start building. Build residential houses, workshops, marvels, military buildings and more.
5. Click on the Monolith. Then place it onto your empty land. Cultural buildings increase your population happiness.
6. Click Research to invest in technology. Technologies unlock new buildings and more technologies.
7. Click Research to start Agriculture. Discovering Agriculture will give you new buildings and advance your civilization.You will be rewarded with extra points and you can now build more buildings to your city.
8. To continue to play City of Wonder, remember to monitor your to-do list at the New Task tab on the top right corner.
9. Visit Sophia's house often to collect coins. This is extra bonus for gamers.
10. Continue to build your city by clicking on the different tabs for buildings. There is an exciting and very detailed types of building at the building tab. This is very attractive and make this game surreal for gamers.
I will be updating more details about City of Wonder game in the coming posts. Meantime, I think it is fun and engaging to see a lot of details for this city building game making it a slight twist from the usual city games.
i cant see sophias house on my allies tabs down the bottom how do i visit her house if she isnt there. is this a glitch as i know a lot of ppl are having the same problem
ReplyDeleteHi Rachel, some people could not see Sophia's house on the allies tabs down at the bottom too, same like you.. however, not all gamers are facing this problem. So this is probably due to the game's glitch.

ReplyDeleteHi Jul, without buying there are a couple of ways. When you start the game you will be given 2 types of currency. 40,000 Silver Coins and 12 Gold Bars. Levelling up and doing trading will also earn gold.

ReplyDeleteHi PhoeNiX, when you're playing the game, click on "My Allies" along the top.
ReplyDeleteScroll down past the invite screen, and you'll have a list of your allies.
Keep scrolling until you get to the person you want to remove, and click "remove neighbor".
hello when do 8 hours goods expire? what if i stayed 12 hours for example? please help
ReplyDeleteHi Hanan, goods created in game are supposed to be good for the time it takes them to be created X2. So, if it takes 4 hours to create the product, the product will expire 4 hours after you finish making it. If it takes 3 min to create, it will expire 3 min after you have finished making it.

ReplyDeleteYes, I also know how to start over from new again in City of Wonder. It is a great game but somehow due to my inexperience i ended up messing my city and loosing a lot of money. I dont mind starting from scratch again. After all I only played for like 8 hours but it would be really great if you can tell me how to start over. Thank you very much! =)

ReplyDelete@ Shakuntala, currently there is no way to start over the game. Per Playdom, they will be adding this feature in the future.

ReplyDeleteumm....i just wanna know how I can delete or sell the river, the one that you "pave" that's under "roads." Can you delete it at all?

The lady in the top right corner is telling me to clean 5 buildings as a task and l don't know and can't figure out how too, there army any broom icons., argh!!

ReplyDeleteHow come there are no quests for me anymore? I can't click on the pic in the upper right corner or sth to get some more quests. Usually they started popping up at some point, but it stopped somehow after a while.
ReplyDeletethey should really ad a start over option, my civilisation is to big and I cant take all day looking into it, being lvl 49 isnt that much of fun anymore ;)
