Ancient Quest of Saqqarah

In Saqqara, the player will discover a mysterious underground oasis where she or he will be tasked with a quest to restore temples of the Egyptian gods. Each temple will provide a different type of puzzle challenge. Some of them will be well familiar to the casual players, while others were never seen before.



They all share some core features and goals, but provide completely different pace and game mechanics.

The game begins with a brief cinematic - this is another thing that I like about Saqqarah - players are given the option of skipping all cinematics if they so choose, but they are so well done, I watched them all.



In this Match 3 game, the Quest of Saqqarah takes you through the seven temples of the gods and goddesses. Once you complete the first four levels and the bonus game you are given a key to unlock the next temple. There's one point where you need to swap adjacent colored gems to make groups of three or more similarly-shaded tokens, thereby lighting up connecting pathways to complete each stage.
