Spewers

Spewers is a platforming games where you control a blob that can spew goo.The game is split into whole screen levels and your task is to find the exit to these levels. Your abilities to spew is the highlight in this game and it's really fun to figure how to use those abilities into wining the levels.

Gameplay
The gameplay is quite easy in the beginning with a generous amount of tutorial levels. However, it becomes increasing hard until you figured out the behavior of your goo thoroughly. For example, to increase your jumping ability, release your goo at the moment when you hit the jump button. If you release your goo sooner, your jumping height decrease.

Another difficulty that you face is that some levels requires you to conserve your goo. This means that you will need to use the minimum amount for each obstacles least you ran out of it. It is not uncommon for me to reach the last obstacles and realize that I don't have any more goo and have to restart the game.

There will be a lot of trial and errors. You will have to get use to restarting. Hence, there is even a hot key for restarting your current level that is "R". Surprisingly, due to cute graphics and catchy music, the gameplay rarely reach the point of frustration.

For a game that models liquid physics, the CPU usage of this flash game is a bit more intensive that your average flash game. If your game starts to crawl, you will have to close your web browser windows and restart it again (this did not happened to my computer). Fortunately, the game autosaves each time your complete a level.

Graphics
The goo that you spew have liquid behaviour in it. There a few types of goo: liquid, gas, solid, and acid types. There are various of use for this goo such as propelling you to higher heights, swimming in it, and creating solid platform for you to stand on. The goo behave differently depending on the it type.

Conclusion
This is a nice play platform game with high production value in gameplay, graphic , and sound. The spewing physic is amazing, amid a bit more CPU-intensive. The game is also difficult although not to the point of frustration.
