Cradle of Rome

The story line in this game is to build Rome from scratch. One place at a time. Starting from a smaller structure like quarry up to the more complex structure like Forum, Coliseum, etc….to build the whole Rome Empire. As you proceed to higher and higher level, your ranking will advance from poor peasant to the ultimate emperor.

Cradle of Rome has five stages (over 100 levels) and is a single, story-based type of game. Match three or more identical tiles and you gain points. The graphics in the games are very vibrant and attractive. And not forgetting to mention that the tunes are quite interesting and catchy too.

It seems like a simple game at first, but there is a slight difference in Cradle of Rome. What makes it different is that you need to have resources such as Gold and Food to build the empire. And while you’re busy matching the tiles, there’s a water jug serves as a timer. By the time all the water has dropped to the bottom of the jug, you loses a life..

While playing Cradle of Rome, you will feel like you are really building an empire. Events do take place. When you reached a match-five, you will be awarded by a citizen. Each citizen represents more resources for the building. All these features in the game, somewhat, can be quite addicting.

The only con of this game is that this game is available only in one mode and if you loses all the lives, you need to restart at the beginning of last stage, not the last level you have played.

Overall Cradle of Rome is still a pleasant and enjoyable game. An exciting one with nice story telling line for your pleasure time.
