The Sultan's Labyrinth

There are a lot of hidden object games available. And most of the time, they have good graphics and nice features. However, when I play The Sultan's Labyrinth, I have mixed feeling.



The game started out quite impressively as they have nice graphics...and the story line is for the Prince to win Princess's hand in marriage by solving a string of puzzles. The story seems exciting as I always like the story of Prince Charming winning princess's heart. Haha!



The game itself is very simple actually. There are many different kinds of gameplay for the levels. In most of them you have to find objects from the list, spot differences between two pictures, place pieces inside a mosaic, find some number of similar objects, find some number of pair objects and solve simple logical puzzles. But this list is not complete and sometimes you are asked to do something really extraordinary for the hidden object games.



The thing is that I find the games are too simple at times where you just find objects by matching the silhouettes with the hidden objects, match the jewel shapes and put it at the right spot. Sometimes not challenging enough. The features I like about this game is that there's one point where we're required to mouse over the objects for clue and I was actually stuck clueless there for a while before figure out the function of the puzzle.

This game doesn't have an additive storyline and I give it 3 stars out of 5. Just because they have some creative ideas and - well, it is still interesting to play. :)
