Turtix 2: Rescue Adventures

When you first look at Turtix 2: Rescue Adventures, you'll get an impression you're going to control a cartoon. Extremely bright and eye-catching graphics are one of the greatest pros of the game. Here's the story: an evil spell was cast upon baby turtles of the Turtle School of Magic and they were kidnapped.

You and the brave Turtix are to set off on a quest through 3 different worlds (Magic Forest, Underground Caves and Barren Desert ) to rescue them. Your mission is to release the caged young turtles by jumping on the head of their guards and then kicking them when they are stunned. This is pretty easy, although later on some of the guards get a bit more tricky. There are also other enemies that you can jump on or that you must avoid altogether. Once you have released all the turtles the exit portal becomes active and you can move onto the next area.

There are those minute little creatures residing in the little holes throughout the game that seem to support Turtix. Birds, interspersed throughout each level, act as checkpoints, raising a check-marked sign when you pass.

Well...I feel that Turtix 2: Rescue Adventures isn’t quite as good as the first game release because of only one game mode (instead of two in the original), two levels of difficulty (opposed to three). You can't customize controls and there are some technical glitches. However, with the game's cute, beautiful graphics and 60 levels to play, it is bound to appeal to lots of people. If you are bored with all the hidden objects games available out there, you can try this puzzle game for a change. :)
