Risk

Risk is all about taking over the world and the way it's done is that you choose which country you want to attack...all 42 territories of the world. The game is played by rolling the dice against the opponent and whoever has the highest number wins.



Up to six generals may compete. You need 3 generals to play and one must be human. Players can choose random deal or let the computer assign territories with the AI. If you choose your territories, there is more strategy involved. The game is a bit harder when you choose the random territories.

There is a lot of strategy in Risk. You need to decide how many troops to leave on certain territories to defend them and also when to attack or just fortify. The AI is also pretty good. Try to avoid attacking in small groups and always stick to large group to to avoid your troops being stranded.

The music, sound effects, and animated movements inject some spice into Risk. There's also this voice that always instruct you when it's your turn to move. Great pick for those of you who are fans of Risk.
