Tradewinds Caravans

Tradewinds Caravans starts the journey by guiding 6 adventurers on their journeys as they walk along the Silk Road, an ancient trade route stretching from China to the Mediterranean Sea. Very adventurous and dangerous journey as the bandits which will attack your group and take your money.

But with careful planning and budgeting, you will do well in the game. The dialogue is just brilliant, it tries to be funny and it pulls it off very well.

Through the journey, you will be making money through trade with merchants. Buy goods and then resell them at a higher prices will also gain you some cash. Items like nuts, teapots, mirrors and camels are available for purchase. Each city with their own products. In the map view, you’ll see the city you just left, and various trade routes you can take to go to another city. Players click the mouse to move the caravan across the map, plus you’ll have to visit each city in between the one you left and the one you’re traveling to.

While I liked the new combat, I agree that you could possibly have a bit more control. Being able to choose your archers target is fine and good but a couple more options wouldn't have hurt for variety. Having said that, the combat scenes are unique as it's closely resembles the RPG and "real time" online game. And the music is nice too. Never a dull moment with the funny dialogue and good story line.
