Facebook Games: Jumping Dog

Everyone of us has a friend in life and what makes this game great is that it has a world man’s best friend as your companion. Jumping Dog in Facebook is where a simple gameplay can be made into fun one. The game is developed by Socialgames and I for one find it very interesting.

Gameplay

When I look at the gameplay for Jumping Dog, this is a very simple game to begin with. When you load it, you will be taken to the main screen where two options will be provided.



The build in game instruction is rather simple to follow and if you ask me personally, you can really skip it. This game is all about jumping and just hitting anything you see in the sky, no need a tactical strategy guide for that.



As soon as you hit play, Jumping Dog will load you directly into the game. Your goal here as jumping dog is to… well JUMP! Balloons, coins, springs will start dropping out from the sky and all you have to do is to jump and hit the balloons and try to get as high as possible without dropping back down to earth.



Players only get 1 shot at this so playing with a mouse is very advisable. I tried to use a touchpad and it did not get me far.

Graphic

Very cute and Cartoon like, animation is rather limited, but for games like this, you will be too busy keeping your head in the clouds rather than worry how the game looks like.

Sound

There is music, but limited. Somehow the music makes you feel you are on a tiki island or something. Not really bad, but a bit out of place. Sound FX is acceptable and clear with sound of coin collecting and also balloons popping.

Conclusion

This game is all about reaching to the sky and trying to stay up as high and long as possible. It is a very entertaining game that can kill off a few minutes of your time while waiting for your friends and family or even in the office. The game is made for all ages and it is very addictive.

I personally give this game a 4 out of 5 rating.
