Walkthrough to Battle Punks

This is a short walkthrough that will provide information to new players about Battle Punks, a Java base game that is available on Facebook.

1.    In this game, do not invest any money you have on weapons. You will usually get all your weapons and boost from loots or battle drops. Just be a bit of patients with the game.

2.    Fighting during early level from 1 to 5 is easy, most opponents are lightly arm and less dangerous. Once you move to the next map, the game will get a lot harder and you will get your ass kicked at least 4 out of 5 times in a role. Do not worry about the game getting harder, it will get a lot easier after you get some upgraded weapons from loot or drops.

3.    Look out for special opponents with a special serpent symbols on them. These are elite or boss players. They are very hard to kill.

4.    Only roll for next set of opponents if you know you could not win any battles. It is free during the first roll, but repeated rolls mean it would cost 5 coins.



5.    Do bear in mind that no matter if you win or lose, this game still rewards you! Fun, right?

6.    Know your weapons, do keep in mind that the more powerful the weapon is, the more damage it will cause. However, do read the descriptions of the weapon. Some weapon may have the tendency of getting hit off your hand.

7.    Having shield is always useful. Do keep one if possible.



8.    Always and I do mean always carry more than weapon into a battle! Unless you prefer to get into a fist fight or trying to be Captain America and use a Shield. Else do not be superman and carry at least a staff and a sword into any battle.



9.    Spears and staffs are considered long range weapons. Slow in assault, but very useful as counter attack weapons and knocking your opponents weapons off at times.

10.    Hammer are also very good weapon in knocking your opponents weapon off their hand, keep one if you need to.



11.    Large swords are very powerful weapon; it can really cause major damage to your opponents. (Will only appear if you reach the third map)

12.    Check your opponents’ levels and items they bring into battle! You must at least check through what type of boost or weapons they have. Some opponents carry like 4 to 5 weapons, but have 0 boost.

13.    Boost is very useful skills. Keep that in mind, it provides additional edge over your opponent who do not carry any.

14.    Health potion is always handy to have around, but very hard to come by on a loot drop. Purchase if you need to and equip it only when you have to. The game is a bit buggy and might just waste your health potions if you are not careful.

15.    Keep in mind that cloths and accessories carries no armor value in the game. It is only cosmetic! Players can actually jump partial naked with only their underwear and can still win battle.

16.    Do not spend your Newton unnecessary as some special weapons can only be obtained via using Newtons. This only applies after you reach the third map.

Hope this guide helps you in the game. Battle Punks is not really such a bad game, nor is it perfect. However, it is a lot of fun after you passes the second map.
