Farm Craft 2

Here is another farming game, in this downloadable PC game, Farm Craft 2 has a main character called Ms. Ginger who is the owner of a tomato trading company. Even though she is a young lady, she has a vast experience from planting vegetables, first hand experience at her grandparents farm back at the village.

Farm Craft 2 has a very detailed story line and tracking from each and every event, on how Ginger return to farming at her grandparents village during a visit to her old folks. And she eventually helped a guy who does not know how to do farming at all to build up his business from scratch from her experience. I like the fact the story is delivered in a comic strip kind of mode.



Farm Craft 2 is more like an educational game to younger player in the sense that the directions and instructions given in the game are more step by step basis. This is also due to the fact that player has to move his/ her mouse up and down, left and right to find the right vegetable or fruits to pick up from the farm.



Sometimes the instructions are a bit wordy, I have to read the instructions a few times to get step-by-step directions. I wonder perhaps a school going student are able to catch it faster than I am! The instructions goes like this: "Now you will need to wait for your first harvest and take it to the barn. Click on a crate to pick it up, then click on four ready-to-harvest plants, one at a time. When your crate is full, click on the barn, and you have gathered your harvest!"

Phew!! Isn't that a long instruction at one go? This is a good game for an educational game as it will enhance and sharpen your reading skills and sharpen your vocabulary for the instructional kind of essay. So if you have any younger kids at home, you can encourage them to play this game.



Other than digging the soil, planting the seeds, water the plants and finally harvest the vegetables, you are also required to produce wool. In Farm Craft 2, feed the sheep with the carrots you have harvest and take it to the sheep. Sell your wool to gather money.



Now after you have entered another stage, here is another more exciting story to follow! You are becoming more well known as a farmer and now there are some culprits who are modifying the vegetable's DNA! The story is injected with a bit of humor and tells a guy could be hurt from being hit from an eggplant, and also not forgetting a gigantic strawberries.



Here you have to sneak in to the culprit's farm and steal some samples of vegetables and fruits from their farm. Without these evidence, it is hard to know for sure how they destroy other people's life.



Farm Craft 2 is very entertaining from the story line. It has great details. As for the graphics, I feel that more details could be chipped in. It feels a bit cartoon due to the colors and lack of texture. As for the sound, the game has good voice over for the characters, with accurate and clear pronunciation. This makes it a right material if you are looking for educational games.
