Slingo Quest Eqypt

Slingo Quest Eqypt is similar to the casino coin sliding machine. This week MabelGames takes on this card and board game challenge. The story begins with the latest new invention…Pyramid Slingo, stolen by the Devil. You as the player need to help to get it back from the Devil.

Gameplay

Travel to each places to play the different levels. Each place has 5 levels, consists of Museum Foyer, Papyrus Room, Amulet Room, King Tut’s Treasure, Singo Surprise and Convergent Slingo. If a level is grayed out, you have not unlocked it yet. You are awarded gold stars for achieving certain goals. There is a map to indicate where you are going in Egypt.



Any cell at the bottom of the screen in red color will be matched with the same numbers in the blue board above the cells. The color of the board is according to levels of the game. If there is a joker's face appears at the cell at the bottom, then it is good for you! This is because any cell in this joker's column will be matched by this joker.



The matches can be in a row, column or diagonal and this makes a slingo, worth 1,000 or more points. Sometimes a spin does not match anything, so do not worry. Give it another spin. As for powerup, you will know you have received it when you see the powerup at the top left corner. Click on the powerup tracker to see what it does.

Gold Scarabs are worth extra points. Collect all five in one place to unlock the secret level. The devil sometimes makes you play a game with him. You can decide how much of your earnings you want to wage with him. Is it all, half or quarter that you want to bet with him? If you lose in the mini game, you need to lose the amount that you have waged to the Devil.

This mini game is consisting of recognizing the image that is different from the others. This is the one feature that I like in the game. Interesting! Just when I thought playing the Spin machine is taking forever, this mini game really takes my attention and makes me alert. This mini game is not totally easy though. Probably when I played this game, it is near midnight, this does not help me in recognizing it the minute the mini game appear. All the pictures look almost the same. Well, needless to say, I lost the amount that I bet to the Devil.



The yellow cells are part of the pattern. If you can match all of them, you get the extra points.



Graphic

The graphic here is simply the basic one, which makes this game a pretty functional, no more no less. So there is not really much to say in this category.

Sound

As for the sound, this is the same too with the graphic, which are consisting of the basic features.

Conclusion

Overall Slingo Quest Eqypt is good if you like a game that does not take too much of your time, which is suitable for some quick break from your routine and errands. The game's simple mechanism makes it playable for young players, perhaps not for those looking for a more challenging card and board game.
