Restaurant City Theme (Wedding Party)

Playfish has released the Wedding Party Theme Pack for Restaurant City and we from MabelGames are really happy to try it out. It looks to us that Playfish seems rather serious in this particular theme and put a lot of work into it. This week we will cover the greatest theme pack of all time, well for those who loves wedding party anyway ;)

The first thing I do notice about wedding here is… It is very expensive! Not wanting to throw away all my hard work on my Japanese Theme, I went and create a new restaurant out from nothing. I actually invested at least 500k of Restaurant City Credits into this new theme.

Now we first look at the furniture part. It seems like some of the texture that is being used by the Playfish is a rework from the Valentine Theme like the chair and table. Nevertheless it still looks very good. Aside from a few refurbished furnitures, players will also notice that the developer has put in some new items for players such as bubbly drunk tower, wedding cakes and so on.

It takes a bit of time to redesign the whole theme on my end, but the end result looks rather nice nevertheless. Players can even decorate their garden to brighten up the spirit of wedding party. As you can see on the picture below, I have actually put a bit of effort to making it look like an actual wedding ceremony is going on in the garden while the dinner is held inside the restaurant.

The internal decorations are rather limited, so players are always advice to at least put their creativity mind into work and mix things up a little. I for one find that some items from the previous Alice Theme come in real handy in the decoration part. Things like table full of cakes are nicely fitted into the Wedding Theme without drawing out to much attention. Other old items like fountain are also useful to make things a bit grand. However, this is really all up to the players if you ask me, so let your creativity flow and make your wedding party the way you always want it.

Now after we are done with the interior decorations, player might like to dress up their workers a bit as well. Playfish have included a new set of gown for the ladies; allow them to dress up like a bridesmaid while serving all those hungry customers with their wedding party food. The gown looks a bit like the toga robes, but it seems to fit the environment very well. For the guy’s side, well the usual black or white suit is now on discount.

After we are done with the interior part of the restaurant, let us look at the exterior. This is where I find most of the fun in this theme. Although there is not much stuff you can put, but items like Marquee and wedding chairs makes the outside environment look very grand. Players can even decorate the whole place to look like a church.

Conclusion

All in all I really enjoy this particular theme, although it does cost me 500k to do it, yet I still think it is worth all the time and effort.

I give this a 3.5 out of 5 rating due to all the best stuff is lock up with real money.
