The Pinball Adventure

As the title depicts, this is a pinball game. This time, this is not a Facebook game, but this is in the form of a flash game. The Pinball Adventure this time, has some twist in the theme, which you will target the ball to hit and kill the monsters in the pinball.

Gameplay

Simple, yet addictive and fun. There are four stages to be unlocked in The Pinball Adventure. Stage I: The Black Swamp, Stage II: Cave of the Overseer, Stage III: Dungeon Treasury and finally Stage IV: Realm of Hades. The level designs are both inventive and scaled nicely in difficulty.

The controls for the games are consisting of the arrow keys or WASD for the left and right flippers, and also plunger. You can also pause or go back to the Menu by pressing the Space key.

The ball really feels bouncy, light and out-of-control feeling as while it is on the verge to drop down, it suddenly has great "bounce back" to the top when it hit the corner of the walls.

It can be quite easy to hit the points as the ball can roll on its own a few times to accumulate points when it hits the target. It's not hard to kill the monsters.

Graphic

The graphic is a simple one with red pixel and black background. The background is monotonous and a bit dull, making all the stages look almost the same. Thus, the graphic can be improved here.

Sound

The sound feels very on-the-beat with some rock details. Feels energetic when you are battling the boss in The Pinball Adventure.

Conclusion

A nice twist on the pinball adventure with good tempo and beat in the music. However, the ball can slides up and down too fast after launched. Also the lack of interactivity from gamers with the pinball game, due to only press the left and right flippers to kill the monsters. But then again part of the difficulty that makes pinball machines so good and fun, even in this day and age, is having to watch that ball fall down the side, and nothing you do can stop it.
